Your Majesty the King
Your Majesty the King
Pin not this sin on me
Jordan would’ve felt my Wing’
But London clipped them all
In the Hashemite Kingdom
Peace flows like a river
The Jordan River
Where the Son of Man
Was immersed
By The Forerunner
Clothed in camel’s hair
With a belt of leather
Holding up his waist
He fed on locusts and wild honey…
I recall them all
Your Majesty the King
Pin not this sin on me
Jordan would’ve felt my Wing’
But London clipped them all
In London I laid my nest
Like a bird
For a short rest
But not with my Eggs
I left them in the Niger
The River Niger
Where they risk to drown
In anguish and fear
No light, no shades
No work, no feeds
I denied them all
