The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch (NBA Lagos) was the forerunner of the NBA. NBA Lagos (the Premier Bar) is today, one of the NBA branches in Lagos State and in Nigeria. The Branch serves the interests of lawyers mainly based on the Islands of Lagos and neighbouring environs.

Overtime, NBA Lagos has been blessed with visionary leaders. The current Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe (popularly known as Yemi Akangbe) has kept the light shining.

During Mr. Akangbe’s campaign in 2019, one of his promises was to deliver to the members of the Branch, an effective secretariat that will take care of their needs and make every business of the secretariat seamless. Just like he has painstakingly worked with other members of his EXCO to serve the Branch diligently and with dedication, Mr. Akangbe and his team have now improved on the Branch website by moving the Secretariat to a full digital plane. Members can navigate effortlessly.
